The double shot this week is the brand new N.E.R.D. album “Seeing Sounds” on Interscope Records. This is N.E.R.D.’s third album and as you would expect from the Neptunes boys and Shae Haley this album is musically progressive and very fun. There is songs on this album that are throwbacks to the disco era, drum and bass influenced, based around melodic hooks, but all of it fits together and creates a refreshing record.
