Double shot from Willie Evans Jr’s “Black Mega: The Remixes”. This proves that Willie Evans Jr. has got beats as he re-interprets some favourites of the Mr. Lif and Akrobatik catalogue. Honestly during both the Victoria and Vancouver Mr. Lif shows, I was impressed by Willie Evans’ stage show, which involved playing his original beats, rapping, and incorporating and synching various video clips to his performance. Although, “Black Mega” focuses mostly on Willie’s stellar beat making ability. Big M did pick up another one of Willie’s CD so aspect to hear the name and music in the future on URP, but in the meantime check out his myspace.
